Haiti, and especially Port-au-Prince, is a notoriously difficult place to operate, but Kate spent three weeks grappling with very tough access issues within the country's biggest men's prison, navigating tricky compliance... and all this at the same time Hurricane Matthew swept through Port-au-Prince. She was dogged in her perseverance, journalistically savvy and managed to shoot a beautiful, hard hitting film. She is also highly organised and efficient in her work. A great PD!
