Jeanette is an ex Detective and Criminal Barrister who runs a TV consultancy specialising in TV involving Policing/Crime/Courts.
Since starting up Jeanette has gained a number of credits working on scripted and unscripted. She also appears as a contributor on True Crime documentries recently appearing on 'Meet, Marry, Murder' on the Crime and Investigation Channel/Netflix.
Jeanette was the legal consultant on Jimmy McGovern's 'Time' Series 2 (BBC Studios) where she has had the opportunity to:
- advise on character storylines (crime's they have been convicted/accused)
- advise on authenticity and plausibility
- attend editorial meetings/writers room
- advise on sentencing guidelines, criminal justice process, pleas, trial processes and custody time limits
- creating ideas/solutions to storyline challenges and presenting her own opinions
- read all scripts and produce script report/notes and advising on solutions/changes
- working closely with Script Editor and writer Jimmy McGovern on adaption of script for court scenes
- advise on set/costumes, characters/SA's including continuity and suggesting cost savings
- advising in person on set
Jeanette is also the Legal Consultant on BBC's The Gold Series 2 (Tannadice Pictures), ITV Ruth (ITV Studios & Silverprint Productions), Netflix Toxic Town (Broken Bones Productions) and ITV Playing Nice (ITV Studios & Studio Canal/Rabbit Track Pictures) and is the resident script and story legal advisor at Coronation Street.
Jeanette regularly works with Brinkworth Productions where she has worked as producer on a number of shows on their slate including the USA show Accused: Guilty or Innocent (A&E Networks), C5's Suspect No1 and C5's Police: Hour of Duty.

Jeanette absolutely loves TV and Film and is now using what she has learnt in her Legal and Police Career to her advantage. She is currently working on a number of her own script projects for TV Crime Drama pitching her work. She is beaming with ideas for police crime dramas and documentaries.
