I currently work for the ERC researching how we can transition to an economy focused on wellbeing. I am interested in urban planning, history of science, technology and innovation.I have worked in multinational research teams over the past six years, with an eye for detail and creative approaches to research questions, at institutions from Cambridge University to White Cube Gallery. For my research I have sourced material from difficult to access, uncatalogued archives internationally, working with images, text, video, urban plans and archaeological material. I can transcribe and translate between Italian, Spanish and English, and have reading French and Catalan. I pride myself on being an approachable and warm person who adapts quickly and puts people at ease. I am happy conducting interviews and working long hours both in the library and on site.I have freelanced for The Conversation, and spoken at conferences in foreign institutions, in both Italian and English. My research has been published with Cambridge University Press, Oxbow and Columbia. I have knowledge of art history and a practical understanding of art business and curation, holding an MA in History of Art and Design (Sotheby’s). My BA is in Classics.www.sofiagreaves.online
