I hold an MA in International Film Business and a certificate in film and TV production. I am a Director and Producer and have won several awards in Zimbabwe for my short films and theatre work. I have produced and directed several documentaries for non-profit organizations, content for television and short films and have worked as a producer of short-form entertainment news for the Pan-African entertainment channel Scoop Network Africa. My theatre productions have toured in South Africa, Zambia, Algeria, Scotland, Ireland, and Sweden. My theatre work has been profiled in the book ‘Theatre in Sub-Saharan Africa. I am an alumna of the following talent development programs– the Berlinale talent campus (Berlin 2008), HIFA-Direct British Council director Mentorship (Harare, Zimbabwe 2008, 2009 2010), McCarter Theatre Producer/Director Mentorship (Princeton, New Jersey 2013), Hollywood in Focus (Los Angeles, USA 2016), and CineFAM Co-Production Accelerator (Durban, South Africa 2017).
