Researcher with a PhD in Journalism studies (University of Sheffield, UK), experienced photographer, editor, author and translator (EN/ES>IT). From 2014 to 2017, my research has focused on the Italian and Spanish news contents about migration from Northern Africa towards Europe. As an external editor, I have been working since 2018 with the Italian publisher Mimesis Edizioni on non-fiction books in the field of sociology, anthropology, history, psychology and of the arts. As an author, I have been collaborating since 2019 with Loescher Editore on the publication of several school texts for high school students. In particular, in 2020 and 2021, I wrote summaries, synopses and exercises for Humanities books, and authored a short story with exercises for Spanish learners (El bicho, 2020) and a school text about reading news images and visual contents (Leggere le immagini, 2023). Since June 2022, I have been working as a Managing Editor at Contently (remote) for the new Italian platform of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. In 2022, I joined the FOCAL International's mentoring scheme for archive researchers and producers with the ambition to become a key referent as a researcher on Italian-related subjects and stories.
