From experiencing different cultures in Africa, to exploring the art of storytelling whilst studying Television Production, I love finding and crafting unique perspectives. Since graduating last year, I have participated in marine and wildlife conservation projects in Mozambique and South Africa which solidified my passion for the enviornment while opening my eyes to the plethora of unheard stories and perspectives.

At university I built on my technical camera and research skills, giving me a solid foundational understanding of production. During my final year I took the opportunity to collaborate with my peers to craft a story that gave a voice to neurodivergent children. This experience enhanced my awareness of the importnace of diversity and on-screen representation, something which I am keen to encourage in the future.

Recently taking on the voluntary role of Social Media Manager for the enviornmental organisation, Wild Connect, has enhanced my knowledge of local wildlife as well as my scheduling skills when planning and creating engaging content. 

Whether an environmental impact or an impact in driving innovative storytelling and technology, purpose in my work is extremely important. Understanding the urgency of the situation which our planet now faces, I feel a responsibility to protect it and having experienced the abundance of life in Africa and appreciating the beauty of life at home, this has cemented my ambition to follow this path. I am confident that my passion for the environment, my interest in storytelling, along with my positive can-do attitude will enable me to learn and progress within an entry level role, and I am eager to challenge myself to do so.
