My degree in zoology and lifelong fascination with natural history brings strong subject-matter expertise and a deep understanding of science storytelling, translating complex research into compelling narratives and sequences for screen.
Alongside natural history, I have worked across a range of factual television formats, including history, science, automotive, and drama, giving me a broad editorial perspective and the ability to adapt research and storytelling approaches to different audiences and tones.
My experience spans pre-production to post-production, with particular strengths in in-depth research, contributor and location sourcing, and pragmatic problem-solving. I am highly skilled at finding people, places, and information, and turning that information into clear, actionable support for my team. I have worked with on-screen talent both in the studio and on location, including operating as the sole production team member in the field. Alongside television production, I produce my own factual content for YouTube, further developing my editorial voice and audience-focused storytelling. Since February 2025, I have worked at Nature Picture Library, creating and pitching story ideas to editorial clients including National Geographic, BBC Wildlife Magazine, and WWF alongside some of the most decorated photographers and videograghers in the world. I also bring strong rights management experience, supporting licensing, clearances, and delivery requirements for high-profile broadcasters and clients.
