My area of expertise is in the anthropology of Christianity, with a broad understanding of Christianity in the UK, particularly among non-mainline and diaspora communities. I am a CHASE (AHRC) awarded PhD Candidate in the Department of Anthropology, Goldsmiths, University of London. My research contributes to conversations around the politics of representation and formations of diaspora in the UK. Current doctoral research, due to submit in Summer 2022, investigates the experiences, formations, and expressions of Christian faith for young people in London and is the culmination of almost 3 years ethnographic research in this area. Beyond my academic research I have held a role at the Horniman Museum, collaborating with community researchers. Alongside this I co-produced a podcast, Afro Historyscapes, that involved extensive research beyond my specific area of expertise and required collaborating with a wide range of contributors.
