Within the past few years, I completed a Master's in Animal Behaviour at the University of St Andrews specialising in cetaceans and penguins, and I have worked as a research assistant for various remote scientific projects studying the behaviour of meerkats, loggerhead turtles and bonobos. Whilst working on these projects, I have had the opportunity to meet multiple film crews from across the world, including the BBC during the Animals With Cameras shoot with Gordon Buchanan. I most recently returned from the Democratic Republic of Congo where I studied the behaviour of Bonobos for 10 months and where I had the opportunity to speak to and work alongside a film crew which has sparked my interest in this line of work.
I am currently a Researcher for Wildspace Productions, working on Our Oceans. Alongside rigorous fact-checking for all 5 episode, I have spent the past year, assisting producers in script writing and story development, archive researching, shoot setup & PRA writing, and I've been liaising with scientists to ensure our scripts correspond with their latest work.
