I am a history graduate from the University of Strathclyde, having done history as my undergraduate degree and most recently receiving my Masters in historical studies. Completing two large works in my dissertations I have excellent research skills and experience of researching a broad range of history whether that is topic or timeframe. I also undertook at masters level a course on Palaeography and honed this skill through my dissertation, this has given me a skill which I have kept using in my own research and further emphasises my experience and knowledge with historical research. I have experience in Storytelling and writing through my work with Folklore Scotland which seeks to preserve Scottish folklore and create a central database for this history. In my current role I conduct social research and thus also have face to face experience of collecting information and onducting research of an oral nature. Read Less
