My name is Katie Jenkins, I am a 2nd Assistant Camera with 8 years of experience in the camera department. I spent 3 years as a camera assistant in unscripted whilst studying Film and TV Production at university. After graduating, I moved across to scripted, working as a camera trainee for 4 years and gradually stepping up to 2nd Assistant Camera. I have been a 2nd Assistant Camera for 2 years, I have a wide knowledge of cameras, lenses and rigs. I'm hard working and proactive in my role and like to make sure the environment on set is a positive place for everyone. I find it easy to adapt to new environments and I'm very effective at problem solving and looking ahead to eliminate potential problems before they surface.

I have always had a passion for filmmaking, I grew up watching a lot of family movies and behind the scenes and feeling like I needed to be involved in that world. I'm incredibly grateful to be part of this industry and I hope to continue working and learning from my peers. Read Less
