Dr Steven Zhang is a palaeontologist who has consulted for several science and natural history documentaries, and also conducted palaeontological outreach activities in museums and science fairs. He has traversed museum collections across Europe, USA, East Africa and China to conduct first-hand fossil research. His research holds particular focus on the evolutionary responses of large mammals to past shocks to the Earth’s climate.
