TV drama is my passion. I thrive on being part of a hardworking, committed and imaginative team to create original, exciting and innovative ways to tell stories, and particularly love collaborating with writers and putting them at the heart of the creative process. Being part of industry leading development and production teams has given me unrivalled insight into the global content landscape as well as fantastic opportunities to work with some of the best writing, directing and producing talent in the world, and an ambitious drive to make bold, entertaining and impactful high-end drama for national and global audiences. I’ve worked extensively across diverse drama slates of premium returning series, authored mini-series and singles for a range of broadcasters and SVODs through from script to production, delivery and post with internationally renowned writers, including prime time series War and Peace for BBC One/A&E with Andrew Davies, Upstairs, Downstairs 2 for BBC One/Masterpiece with Heidi Thomas and We Hunt Together 2 for Alibi/UKTV and Showtime with Gaby Hull, as well as developing BBC One drama The Living and the Dead. I have developed commissioned projects with Kate Brooke, Jacquelin Perske, Lynne Renee Maxcy, Daisy Coulam, Steve Thompson, Ben Richards, Emilia di Girolamo, Matt Barry, Alan Harris, Roanne Bardsley and songwriter Kelly Jones, and also worked on commissioned adaptations with award winning authors Bernardine Evaristo, Lindy Woodhead and Owen Sheers. I am particularly passionate about championing new and diverse voices and finding the next generation defining talent that can lead original series which will change the conversation.I have excellent, collaborative relationships with UK commissioning editors at all major broadcasters as well as screenwriting and book-to-screen agents, Rights Directors, Publishing Directors and Editors, and have secured options and writers for projects, as well as acquiring IP from wider sources. I have trusted relationships with authors and experience of managing relationships between authors and IP holders, screenwriters and producers.Having worked as a Producer, I also have experience of setting up and overseeing shoots, securing funding and managing a budget, and a good knowledge of production talent and crew, as well as experience in working on shoots in the UK and abroad.Above all else, I am committed to creating a positive, diverse and inclusive industry culture and love collaborating with people to create exciting, entertaining drama which speaks to universal audiences.
