David is a team player, and gets along with pretty much anyone, even when working long work periods under sometimes stressful conditions. He is truly captivated by the natural world, and is intrigued by capturing its beauty and sharing its secrets with as wide an audience as possible. David has a good eye and sound technical understanding of his craft which includes drone piloting, handheld, run and gun, synch, and long lens work.

I worked with David for a couple years whilst I was Head of Camera Operations. In 2018 he was promoted to senior camera operator as a result of his hard work, commitment to the team, and skill. In his new role David helped with certain administrative roles in the team including stock takes, assigning duties to the rest of the team, equipment maintenance, servicing gear, recommending upgrades, as well as testing new technology. I would personally recommend David as both a team mate and filmmaker.
