As a tenacious researcher with a passion for botany, ecology, historical subjects, and conservation, I find myself to have a broad spectrum of interests. A natural communicator with a keen eye for detail means I can maintain trusted relationships with both team members and contributors. I have produced and directed my own films as well as being part of a crew, showing I can work both independently and as part of a team. I have a clean driving licence, access to my own car and am happy to work across the UK.In my spare time I am a qualified volunteer Marine Mammal Medic with the British Divers Marine Life Rescue, a charity that rescues seals, dolphins and whales. I regularly respond to emergency call outs to stranded cetaceans and am a trusted member of this first response team of medics. I am passionate autism advocate, and use my work to educate, inspire and create empathy. My work centres around moving image and I have made a number of short films including the very popular ‘Sensory World’, which describes what it is like to have a sensory overload, and ‘Seal Rescuers’ which was made in collaboration with British Divers Marine Life Rescue and Cornwall Seal Group Research Trust.
