The resulting productions have consistently drawn praise from commissioners, viewers and critics alike, and have garnered a host of industry awards.I love exploring big subjects and big ideas – consciousness, Black Holes, climate change, happiness, our species’s future – the bigger the better! I get a personal and professional kick out of finding ways to unpack the seemingly complex in accessible, human and visual ways.To achieve this brand of story telling, I’ve persuaded an expert in consciousness to take magic mushrooms in a brain scanner; helped Bruce Lee’s brother gain closure, by solving the 50 year mystery of his sibling’s sudden death; coaxed heart-wrenching stories from people whose loved ones were trapped aboard United 93 during 9/11; made Stephen Hawking’s last ever documentary; endured a tempest in Venice; captured epic starscape time-lapses from a Mexican mountain, while astronomers battled to take the very first picture of a Black Hole; and lowered a geologist into the heart of an active volcano. If you would like any further details on my previous programmes, clips and information can be found on my website – DuncanBulling.co.uk , and I am more than happy to provide links entire programmes upon request.
