Many of the programmes I have worked on have outperformed their slot and been widely acclaimed:  

- "Renovation Nation" won the Royal Television Society Yorkshire Award for best High Volume Factual series.

- "Life of a Mountain: A Year on Helvellyn" won the Royal Televsion Society NE Broadcast Factual Production Award.

- "Addicted to Sheep" won the Royal Televsion Society NE Broadcast Factual Production Award. The programme scored the second highest "Fresh and New", second highest AI, second highest 16 to 34-year-old demographic, and second highest underserved audience ratings across the whole of the BBC in the week it went out.  

- "Life of a Mountain: A Year on Scafell Pike" achieved a near all-time-record audience for BBC4.  

- “Call the Midwife: The Casebook” was the fourth most appreciated programme (AI) across the whole of the BBC when broadcast. Radio Times dedicated a 2-page feature to it. Pick of the day across 19 publications.

- "Children Saved from the Nazis: The Story of Sir Nicholas Winton" received the second highest AI score (89) for the week it was broadcast.

- The BBC's producer for the PBS version of a $multi-million PBS/CTVC/BBC co-production drama doc of “The Mayflower Pilgrims: Behind the Myth”, and CTVC’s edit-producer for the BBC version.

- Produced the BBC version of “Great War Diaries” - a multi-million euro international co-production (10 co-producers and 15 associates) 3-part factual drama, as part of the BBC’s WWI centenary schedule. The German language version won a Gold World Medal at the New York Festival.

More recently, I have edited a wide range of ob-doc and factual entertainment programmes for UK and US broadcasters.

As well as editing, I have considerable experience both as a producer and edit producer on high-profile, international co-production documentaries. I am used to working co-operatively as part of international teams, including French, German, American and Australian production companies. I am a full member of British Film Editors.
