I'm a hard working, generous, and creative Series Producer based in Glasgow. I have worked across lots of genres from shiny floor shows, to childrens, observational documentaries but have been loving a bit of Fact Ent/Features recently, working on Susan Calmans Grand Day Out and currently Series Producing a brand new fixed rig features format for Channel Four called Love My Face.

I love making programmes that people talk about, narratives with heart, universal experiences that we can all identify with.  I'm on this year's Factual Fast Track Cohort with TRC media - which has just been exceptional and I am guided by two wonderful commissioning mentors.

A very seasoned presenter who once said 'if going above and beyond for a production was an olympic sport LJ would be a gold medalist'. Whilst that does embarrass me to my very core - It also makes me really proud and sort of sums up my dogged determination to make great telly.

I have 15 years self shooting experience in observational filming, single camera capture, multi-camera, and directing crew whilst self shooting.  Edit proficiently on avid, final cut and premiere for digital productions as well as three broadcast programmes for BBC 2. Have taken most of my own programmes through the edit process and edit produced for over ten years, with an orgranised and creative process between myself and the editor.
