I’m Dominique Pazmiño Ríos, an Ecuadorian cinematographer with a BFA in Film from the University of the Arts of Ecuador. Since 2016, I’ve worked on fiction and documentary projects that have screened at international festivals such as Locarno, Cannes Short Film Corner, Vancouver, and Mumbai Shorts.

My visual approach is poetic, emotional, and deeply human. I explore the emotional and sensorial language of images, often drawing inspiration from other art forms to create unique visual atmospheres through light, texture, and movement.

Alongside my film work, I also collaborate on advertising projects, bringing the same cinematic sensibility and attention to detail to branded content.

In 2025, I was selected for the American Society of Cinematographers (ASC) Mentorship Program, an experience that strengthened my pursuit of a personal visual language—quiet yet bold—that invites viewers to feel, pause, and reflect.Currently, I live between sets and sunsets, always searching for new ways to see and tell the invisible.
