I am an extremely experienced
Edit Producer, having focused for the past 15 years in the edit, cutting a huge variety of high-profile shows across multiple genres. From Fact Ent formats including
The Undatebles and
The Apprentice, to competition shows such as
The Great British Sewing Bee,
Alan Carr’s Interior Design Masters and
Bake Off, cookery shows for
Jamie Oliver and
Tom Kerridge, plus factual projects like Netflix’s
Simon Cowell: The Next Act, high-octane adventure shows such as
Goldrush, and comedy-centred shows including a
Children In Need Celebrity Special. I enjoy the variation of all the different genres — from working out the puzzle of how best to tell a competition show story, to creating jeopardy and adrenaline in an adventure show format. Whatever the show, I get stuck into the subject and rushes, cutting and writing scripts with confidence and commitment. I am highly rated as a smart and hard-working team player (with a smile and a sense of humour), who always delivers great shows to deadline. The fact that I am continually asked back for subsequent series is a lovely testament to how showmakers value what I cut for them and enjoy working with me.
I also work as a
Comedy Writer. 2026 will be my third year as
Alan Carr’s writer for BBC1’s Alan Carr’s Interior Design Masters. For each episode, I write the opening comedy skit, the studio script with gags for welcomes and challenge launches, a comedy skit for Alan’s arrival at the challenge, one-liners or comedy moments/props for Alan’s tours with contributors, plus the studio script and gags for the final results scene.
Comedy is a real passion. In the past,
I have been a gigging stand-up, performed in Edinburgh as part of an all-female improv group, and achieved an 18-month
diploma in comedy writing and producing from the prestigious
National Film and Television School — all whilst still cutting shows in edit.
Infront of the camera I have featured on
Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway as an on-screen producer, with Ant and Dec giving me earpiece instructions to prank Cat Deeley, and I also
pranked the Manchester United team for Chevrolet, which went viral online.
In addition, I’ve done
comedy writing for advertising agencies, including a recent McDonald’s campaign.
The combination of my extensive TV edit producing experience (alongside previous PD, producer and development work), with my writing skills and comedy chops, is a great mix for any production or project looking for top-quality shows or content delivered with a well-written script — and a side of funny if desired. I’d love to make something fun and brilliant with you!
