Hi there. I work as an SD, SP, director, self shooter and edit producer. I try and avoid specifying just one role...if the story is good and something I'm interested in, I'm keen to be involved. What I love most about the job is storytelling - hence I'm very editorially-minded, always on the lookout for juicy ideas and captivating characters with interesting stories to tell. The stories I'm particularly passionate about are ones about people and social justice - particularly women's rights. I enjoy exploring social awareness themes that tell us about the world we're living in. My background has mainly been access-based and observational documentaries for BBC and Channel 4, a career path I have loved and has given me invaluable experience in programme-making and narrative structure, both in singles and in series. I have also entered the world of archive-led retrospectives, which - having done two singles - I am loving. My ultimate goal is to direct feature docs - an objective I am relentlessly pursuing by developing my own projects. I am a strong self shooter, have experience in the edit and overseeing multiple edits, I am a strong, supportive and nurturing team leader. I also have lots of experience with sensitive and tricky access/contribs, sensitive environments and remote locations. I am a strong self-shooter and speak fluent Spanish. Read Less
