I Have been a commisioning editor looking after new and existing series at channel 5 for the three years working across genre in factual television . Prior to this I most recently exec’’d at both channel 5 and at Olga For an ITV series and BBC .I am an experienced programme maker .working across the documentary, factual and factual entertainment genres. I'm a strong storyteller and I know how to nurture creativity in my team. I make popular docs and series with warmth and humour . I am very strong in the edit and can draw narratives with clarity - I am able to oversee edits and deliver. I have developed ideas from concept to delivery. I have acquired development funding for a documentary for the BBC and full commissions for channel 4. Most of my experience is in character driven obs doc films/ series and I play an integral role in casting , filming and editing . However I have a background in Arts , History and specialist factual and bring my experience in obs docs to these genres. I have a clear vision of a programme from development through to the editing process whilst having the ability to take new ideas on board and develop the programme throughout the process. I have executive produced across a wide range of genres from education to factual entertainment series . I have recently exec'd a Michael Mosley rig series about the science behind human behaviour for BBC Earth.
