Last year I pitched current affairs ideas in the Channel 4 Newsroom as well as for City University’s television and digital platforms every week. Throughout the MA, I produced and shot weekly VT packages covering a wide range of stories from health and social affairs to cultural events and sports, securing interviews with a range of contributors.
My final project was a fifteen-minute documentary about a Team GB Para Climber hoping to qualify for the Paralympics first climbing event at LA 2028.
In between my MA last year, I worked on a BBC One documentary “Why…Planes Crash” where I secured interviews with survivors of the Delta 4819 plane crash in Toronto. This role involved working across different time zones, handling sensitive subject matter and most importantly, maintaining a duty of care to the potential contributors.
I am keen to pursue opportunities in Factual TV, Current Affairs and News either in production or development.
