I’m a Series Director, DOP and Self-Shooting PD with over 20 years of experience and a proven track record of directing a broad range of factual and entertainment programmes for multiple broadcasters.

My attitude is one of a calm approach, working quickly under pressure, having a strong eye for detail and maintaining the importance of carving distinctive narratives. My creative passion is to deliver slick and stylish cinematic programmes on a TV budget.

I come from a studio directing background and as such I am comfortable directing large-scale multi-camera setups along with single-camera shoots. I have a drive and love for making exceptional and entertaining television both domestically and internationally.

I am prepared, organised, hard-working, brimming with fresh ideas and always enthusiastic.

 I have a track record for producing and directing high-profile presenters (Kirsty Allsop, Sarah Beeny, Rylan Clarke) and globally renowned talent (Woody Harrelson, Owen Wilson). I also have a natural talent for engaging with contributors and relaxing them, so they give more of themselves on camera.

I have been instrumental in creating and developing new formats and programme styles but am also capable of joining established programmes; slotting in seamlessly and working collaboratively with an established team.
I'm confident and comfortable shooting on any camera - FX9, FX6, FX3, FX30, FS7, FS7 MKII, C300 MKIII, C300 MKII, C300, C500 MKII, C70, Arri Amira, Arri Mini, A7S etc. I own a C300 MKIII 4K camera kit including Steadicam and am a BAFTA Craft award winner.
