I’m an award-winning Creative Director, Producer/Director and Edit Producer specialising in story-driven factual television, premium documentary and true crime. I’ve made programmes for every major UK broadcaster, as well as US networks and global streaming platforms, and have taken productions from initial concept and research through filming, scripting and post-production to final delivery.

My experience spans true crime, feature documentary, factual entertainment, studio production, drama reconstruction, arts, biography and scripted development. I’ve worked extensively in the UK, United States and internationally, managing complex access and filming sensitively with victims’ families, witnesses, investigators, lawyers and other contributors affected by traumatic events.

I bring strong editorial, narrative and interview skills, together with a distinctive visual approach. I shoot and light to a high standard, edit on Premiere and Avid, and have additional experience with After Effects, Photoshop, motion graphics, 2D and CGI animation and VR. I have led large multidisciplinary teams, established the visual approach across major BBC series and series-produced a technically complex peak-time studio production for BBC Two.

Alongside production, I work as a screenwriter, script consultant and mentor. I’ve written several screenplays, including one sold to a US studio, and have originated and developed factual and scripted projects across film and television.

Most recently, I produced an as-yet-unannounced feature-length US true-crime documentary for Netflix, which involved extensive development, research, difficult access and repeated trips to the United States.
