A calm strategic thinker with a head for transforming complex production stories into innovative post production content . With the ability to recommend and implement the latest technologies and techniques to enhance your content no matter how big or small the budget! And give the business a competitive edge. There's 2 roads you can take , the first road leads right out of that door because you think you've heard it all before , the other road starts right here right now, built by us. A wise man once said the best way to predict the future is to invent it
I’ve worked for Post facilities in a range of technical roles across lots of different genres and areas of the business. From Edit Assisting to MCR Ops, MCR Supervisor , Technical Manager and Head of Technical Operations for 3 independents post facilities in London, working in both Picture and Audio, from upgrading existing facilities to brand new start-ups, technical drawings, network schematics and diagrams. I have taken lead roles in MCR, Comms and studio builds from the room designs and layout to advising on all procurement of kit and new technology.
My last 2 positions have been project manager of Fifty Fifty post production overseeing their expansion to their new site in Livonia Street, which included designing all network diagrams, cable schedules for all Video, Audio and Data, Comms Rack designs/layout - purchase of all kit - switches, firewalls, patch panels , Routers etc . Working closely with well-known resellers, cabling installers and builders to ensure not only the physical install side was done as per requirements but all parties worked together onsite meeting all deadlines.
During my time at Bleat, I also did the same roles as mentioned above but was also solely responsible for all technical operations once all build and install work was complete . This included configuration of all Comms kit, designing all workflow diagrams and topologies to ensure smooth day to day operation of the two Dolby Atmos Theatrical Certified sound stages and five flexible Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision-ready HETV workspaces.
During my time at Bleat, I also personally took them through their TPN assessment, which was very challenging, as all security documentation from technical to non-technical needed to be created, firewall allow and deny policies created and configured, which gave me the opportunity to brush up open my firewall configuration skills! This was in addition to all non-technical company policies created and put into action. Although a challenging process, I achieved a Gold level Accreditation for the company (the highest level possible), which I am incredibly proud of.
