I'm a telly creative, who first worked in TV back in 1992 - come and get me, while I'm tepid.
I'm an accomplished series producer, scriptwriter and old-schooler - great with talent, punters and teams alike - and up for developing, writing, producing or editing exciting projects.
Most recently, I spent time writing on an entertainment quiz project for STV/BBC1, and over the last two years wrote and produced 1200, fun and family friendly, catchphrases for the latest three series' of ITV1's Catchphrase - Mr Chips now haunts me in my dreams.
Before that I had been producing and writing Yahoo’s annual business ‘Upfronts’, an online business event and presentation, featuring Gabby Logan and Tom Daley, and writing material for Frank Skinner's Sky Arts' Hay Festival series. While, during lockdown I was writing scripts for comedian Tom Allen and his C4 project Ad Man, before which I developed and wrote the treatment for a three-part documentary about the history of Gay TV for a major channel.
Over the proceeding years, projects have included producing a one hour comedy entertainment review of 2018 for BBC One NI and a one hour special covering Comedy Central's first live comedy festival from Southampton, before which I wrote and produced two comedy entertainment pilots at RDF. In 2017, I finished writing and series producing the three series and 26 episodes of Dave's hit, comedians playing video games, comedy entertainment show, Dara O Briain's Go 8 Bit.
I've a proven history of taking major projects from development, right through to delivery - My mainstay has always been comedy entertainment and have written for and produced Alan Carr, Graham Norton, Jo Brand, Stephen Fry, Paul O’Grady, Dara O Briain, Tom Allen, Gabby Logan, Des O Connor, Roman Kemp and many others, but am interested in all types of telly - here are just a few examples of my work..!
