I am a freelance sound recordist having recently left the BBC after many, many years. I am now returning to specialising in location sound recording and have my own full PSC location sound kit including 8 channel mixer/recorder, 6+ radio mic channels, wireless camera link with timecode, interview & boom mics and stereo rigs for music recording.My previous role was with BBC Production Services as a Production Support Specialist and Lead Technical Operator. During this time I worked with many, many productions filming and sound recording mainly specialising in Arts, classical & popular music; most recent credits for several BBC1 "Imagine" as DoP and sound. I also ran training courses for self-op teams, provided in-house technical consultancy and troubleshooting and we worked closely with equipment manufacturers developing and advising on kit for self-op film makers. I have a full, clean driving licence and as a motorbike rider I can be anywhere with my sound kit even at short notice. When travelling in central London on my bike, I pay no Congestion Zone charges ULEZ or parking charges. Read Less
