Investigative Journalist and Researcher based in Glasgow, Scotland working across both newsgathering and long-form productions with a history of working in the True Crime genre.

 I am a graduate of the MA Investigative Journalism programme run in partnership with Channel 4 and De Montfort University, where I was trained by former executive producers from BBC Panorama and Channel 4’s Disclosure. This renowned course equipped me with the core skills of a modern TV journalist: in-depth research, self-shooting, video editing, OSINT techniques, scripting for broadcast, and pitching ideas to a commissioning standard.

Since graduating, I have worked as an investigative journalist at DC Thomson, producing a portfolio of exclusive investigations for digital platforms. My work has covered a range of public interest issues—from child abuse scandals to Scotland's housing crisis—and included the creation of visual forensic timelines for breaking news events.

While at DC Thomson, I co-created and led the company’s first true crime podcast series, Impact Podcasts, which became its fastest-growing podcast. I reported, wrote, hosted, produced, and edited three acclaimed seasons that explored Scotland’s largest drug importation case, a historic murder, and a modern cold case. These series highlighted not only my production expertise across audio and video but also my ability to uncover untold stories, build trust with sensitive case studies, and secure interviews with both victims' families and suspects. My storytelling and scripting have been praised for their depth, clarity, and empathy.

I am currently a Researcher for STV’s Scotland Tonight, the channel’s flagship current affairs programme. Here, I work on high-impact episodes and investigations, contributing to story development, data analysis, case study recruitment, scripting, and fact-checking. I also support the newsgathering team at STV News at Six, helping to produce and edit broadcast packages and digital content, assist on shoots, and write articles for online platforms. Read Less
