My previous jobs include working at Glyndebourne Opera House, Constantine Bay Surf Store, Finisterre, The London MLB Series and the Rugby World Cup 2019 in Japan, where I was responsible for distributing and coordinating stock in venues as big as the Yokohama and Tokyo stadiums. I am very comfortable in a team environment, partially using skills that I have refined on the sports field, such as leadership, creativity and adaptability. I particularly enjoy placing these assets into the working environment.
My official role at the recent World Cup was Retail Supervisor, a promotion from my original role of Retail Assistant, a job I worked at the London Baseball Series in 2019. This came with additional responsibilities, such as providing advice regarding what stock will be on display depending on the match, and how this would be best used to optimise sales. I believe that my passion for customer relations aligns well with an ethos of committed service to all customers in order to enhance the consumer experience.Outside of the sports and events industry, I am highly interested in film and television, hence why I am studying it at degree level. I believe that the stories conveyed through these mediums provide truly unique perspectives, and articulate messages and themes in ways that spoken and written word simply cannot. Furthermore, I am confident that the skills I have honed during my substantial retail experience has made highly adept at communicating my ideas and I feel that this may be useful in the film and television industry in a creative sense.
