I am at the start of my career in audio, but I have already acquired a wide set of technical skills and some work experience, and I am looking to build upon this foundation with further work opportunities, especially in drama and feature films. I am cheerful, hard-working and an excellent team worker and can provide a range of personal references from media industry professionals to demonstrate my value as crew on any production. In addition to working as trainee on set I am also a keen musician and writer with an interest in researching and creating stories with connections to the natural world.I have some experience working in film already, most recently working on a week long documentary filmed in Devon, and which is currently in the post-production stage. Prior to this I have worked as a sound assistant on "Saving Our Ecovillage", a documentary for the BBC "Our Live" series, as well as being the sound assistant on set for a recording of a play called "The Moors" at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. Within all of these roles my responsibilities included booming, fixing microphones to talent, setting up audio transmitters, cable bashing and general runner work.I am also a member of BECTU with full public liability insurance, as well as having a full driving licence and car.
