I began by playing synths and keyboards in various bands from the early 90’s like Once Bitten, Telstarr, Modesty Blaise, The Suncoil Sect, Aspen Woods and most recently The Fauns and Phonseca. Having gained lots of invaluable experience with these not only rehearsing and playing live, but recording sessions including EMI Publishing, national BBC Radio 1 airplay and playing festivals and European tours too. In 2010 I decided to leave the bands and pursue a solo composing career. Since then I have been composing for Library music companies with his works being synched on TV shows like prime time BBC1’s The One Show, various Channel 5 programmes and National TV in Poland and Romania to name a few. I also compose and release ambient electronica music under the name Phonseca who’s debut album Between a Dream is out now. The Afterglow EP gained great reviews in national music press and blogs and BBC6 Music airplay also. I work. from my studio at home using a Macbook Pro and Logic X and also digital and analogue synths and other acoustic instruments. I also promote my own Microdot Music nights which are a platform for all genres of music to enable local artists to perform and promote their music in front of a new audience. I am constantly working to improve and widen all areas of my composing career and move into new fields of work such as film, theatre, art installations, ballet, opera and contemporary dance. Read Less
