Investigative journalist with three years experience investigating national and international stories myself and with a team. My experience includes print, online, radio, and my own podcast which probes the global energy, economic, and ecological crises. I have also managed multiple international teams of up to 200, and worked as a Media and Journalism professor at French universities. The two breaks in my employment history were each taken to write a novel.As with many journalists, my personal passions fuel my professional interests: the climate, corruption and story-telling. Most of my print journalism concerns what I term climate corruption—abuses of power to extract the planet's resources at the expense of the natural world and vulnerable peoples. Sometimes—too often—I come across stories which need to be seen as well as told, which has spurred an interest in documentary-making.I have lived in five different countries and speak fluent French. I hold British and American passports. My roles with Sarawak Report and Radio Free Sarawak are freelance and temporary due to funding. I therefore have my eyes peeled for other investigative work.
