An experienced senior broadcast journalist and self-shooting producer/director with fifteen years’ experience gained at the BBC, I have worked across political output at Westminster, the BBC news channel, the BBC Brussels Bureau and the BBC’s network general election coverage. On top of my journalism experience, I produced and directed a critically acclaimed music documentary ‘Dale Barclay: All On Black’ (BBC Scotland/BBC iPlayer, 2021) taking the project end-to-end from producing the sizzle tape, writing the paper pitch and treatment through commissioning and post-production. An excellent communicator, I delivered an inspirational talk to the UK's SAE Creative Media Institute about the process of making a documentary from 'idea to iPlayer'. Read Less
