Read MoreI graduated from Cardiff University in Journalism, Media & Cultural Studies in 2015. Taking advantage of every writing opportunity, I wrote countless articles whilst at University as well as in my spare time; all while working within the Film & TV industry.Looking to enhance my writing & communication skills, I left the sector in 2017 to work as a Communications, Events & Web Officer at the University of Birmingham. Here, I capitalized on opportunities to write articles & video scripts, while also developing my editing skills with the creation of a bi-weekly newsletter & various other internal projects. It was here I gained over 2 years’ experience working in marketing, communications and copywriting.While working at UoB, I worked tirelessly in my spare time to write a handful of scripts, mostly feature length scripts, combining my knowledge of various sectors and passion for film. In 2019, my feature length action-adventure script “The Traveling Wilburys” placed at various film festivals in the Best Unproduced Screenplay category, most notably winning the 2019 Anaheim Film Festival, resulting in an exclusive trip to Los Angeles for the festival.As I re-enter the sector, I continue to write, now pursuing a career in scriptwriting while remaining interested in all forms and variations of writing and working within the sector. I am a hardworking, creative and an enthusiastic individual with excellent attention to detail, who's eager to embrace any challenge that arises. I am looking for work within the film & TV industry but also interested in other sectors.
