Being a small charity with limited resources, managing the charity is very full-on. We were hoping that videos could be made, but didn’t have the time or skills to focus on exactly what was needed, or how to produce them. I really hoped, therefore, that someone would just ‘turn up’, who would understand quickly what we needed and who could just get on with it with minimal management from me. That’s when Izzy first arrived on the scene, three years ago, and she has done exactly that ever since.

Izzy has effectively managed the whole process for us, knowing what the finished films should look like in her own mind before arranging interviews or filming with us. She is very easy to deal with, honest, reliable and hard-working, making films for us while studying full-time for her degree at Durham University. She’s also a very versatile film-maker, creating films for us in a variety of different formats, genres and styles. The films she has made have had a great impact on those working here, on our trustees, and on our ability to fundraise and attract volunteers and trustees and supporters.
