Having recently graduated from Goldsmiths, University of London with an MA in Media & Cultural studies (achieving a distinction), I am looking to pursue a career in TV development. I am a confident, progressive, and approachable professional with an extensive CV of creative, communication and administration-based experience. I have excellent research skills and an eye for detail, developed throughout my academic studies. Having spent the last few years working in the art world, I am excited to switch gears and nurture a career in TV development. I am open to runner and assistant roles, production secretary roles, development assistant and researcher roles.I am passionate about TV as a creative format, understanding the crucial role it plays in contemporary culture. Having worked in a variety of public facing environments, I have seen the significant role creative output plays in enriching communities and contributing to the development of culture, ultimately shaping the lives of the public. As a brown woman of colour, I know first-hand the impact TV has on identity formation and one’s sense of belonging.
