After nearly two decades in the UK film and TV industry, REBEL YEAH! Founder and Producer Séan Scott Griffin found himself craving more than mere popcorn fodder on the big and small screens. Inspired by esteemed film companies such as Participant Media & Blumhouse and groundbreaking filmmakers like Jordan Peele, Ken Loach, Shane Meadows and Andrea Arnold, Sean realised that his own role in creating such fare was untenable. 

Driven by a desire to honour his recently departed mother Margie, an Irish firebrand and social justice warrior, Séan founded REBEL YEAH!, a new venture dedicated to producing socially conscious films that feature both established and emerging talent.

Unapologetically committed to collaborating with those from low socio-economic backgrounds, Séan is determined to tell our stories and elevate the voices of those that have long been silenced.
