To tell you a little about myself, I studied at Spirit Studios in Manchester in Sound for TV, Film and Games where I have gained many skills such as sound editing, foley and SFX. I have since worked on numerous projects such as short and feature films as well as a theatre production.I believe that sound is just as important to film as the picture is and one of the aspects of sound design I enjoy is creating effects and ambiences using a mixture of field recorded material, foley and samples. Being able to create different landscapes with sound as well as SFX within the stereo or surround field gives me great satisfaction.I also enjoy creating sound libraries for use in projects I work on, using boom mics and handheld recorders to obtain recordings from different environments. Going to locations when recording provides more detail of the peripheral sounds as well as the source sound which I can then use to provide a more realistic feel when added to picture. Read Less
