Having studied at Cardiff’s elite Journalism school I developed strong skills as a story teller but found my interest drawn beyond the written word to more creative formats. I found my way into the world of documentaries as an Edit Assistant that saw me quickly progress due to my natural skillset, dedication and passion. I have learnt a huge amount in a relatively short time span ultimately landing a role as Producer/Director that also encompassed many other elements of Production. I have the ability to quickly understand stories and what aspects are of particular interest to create the most compelling narrative possible. I work well with others making sure to assist everyone in driving forward with our goals while encouraging and assisting all in the process. While the documentaries I have worked on have been football/sports driven their stories have been about much more than the sport itself but the characters, their back stories and emotional journeys. Across these documentaries the barriers of youth and language have equipped me well in telling great stories even in challenging situations. Read Less
