Acacia Redding
Self-shooting producer / AP
About Me
Acacia came to The Guardian through our Work Experience scheme and we knew then that if we had the chance, we'd have her back once something suitable came up. Something did come up and she's just finished some incredibly complex archive research, sourcing stills, video, audio and Guardian front pages from our asset management system and directly from our archive suppliers, Getty and Reuters. She produced a highly detailed spreadsheet for the Edit Producer to work from and found some incredible material, providing the editor with lots of choice. Prior to that, she was editing (on Premiere Pro) social media versions of our short news features and docs and trailers for the latter, with great skill and speed for someone so young. I'd have her back in a flash.
