My name is Ben Fower and I am a graduate from the University of Portsmouth, a video editor, camera operator, photographer and “filmmaker” from Romsey. I currently live in North London and work on the Southbank. I absolutely love football and have a season ticket at Southampton FC. I feel that I am a great fit for this job as I have 3 years’ experience in full time work in the media and TV industry and have recently started to learn more about marketing and audiences for my currently role. At the moment I am a Lead Producer and, editor at Disruptive LIVE and Compare The Cloud. DisruptiveLIVE is a premier video production company that has 3 studios on the Southbank. We produce shows or short-form content for high-end clients and have recently created a complete green screen studio where we build virtual sets and studios. Disruptive works with clients such as IBM, Dell and have even worked with the Royal Foundation at the Endeavor Awards. Along with this, Disruptive livestreams from technology and business event such as Techerati/ Cloud Expo all over the world. My role as Lead Producer is to plan, shoot and edit whatever we have going on in the studio or virtually day the day. I also manage projects from the inception of the idea to the final outcome of the product. I have received great feedback from some of our most important clients and they are always keen to let me know how well a job I have done and are keen to work with me on their next project. Along with the editing and livestreaming I also work closely with clients to produce the best content possible for them. I also organise people to come in and film in our studio and control the studio calendar and booking system. We have high end clients in the studio daily whom I look after and strive to provide an amazing service to. I also co-manage the social channels for the company. I feel this would be a role I would have a lot of fun doing but also a role that will help me thrive. I am not a loud person but I understand that hard work is what employers are looking for. I am deeply committed to any job I am doing and always what to complete my tasks in the best possible way. I am easy to get on with and am much more of a listener rather than a talker.
