I'm an assistant producer in live events and specialist-factuals on science, history, music, and arts.

A theme throughout my work is tackling complex, cerebral topics. I'm good at absorbing big ideas quickly, delving deep while maintaining sharp accuracy in a fast-paced environment. I enjoy the process of building engaging, accessible narratives and finding the emotional thread that runs through factual topics.

I am self-shooting and comfortable on FX series & DSLR, having filmed broadcast-quality footage for BBC 2 & 4. I own an A7sii that I've used for work. I can be involved in every stage of a VT or shoot: developing ideas from scratch, scripting, setting up shoots (UK & international), filming, and edit-producing.

People are the best part of working in TV. I am equally happy chatting to scientists and briefing celebrities, treating everyone with equal respect. I've sourced elusive contributors -- from no-fee company involvement to discreet property developers -- and I work comfortably with contributors, vulnerable individuals, celebrities, presenters, experts, companies, and partner organisations (e.g., Westminster Abbey, Royal Institution). I am a friendly and reliable member of any team.

Key skills: Writing scripts; creating VT narratives; 1st or 2nd camera on shoot; comprehensive factual research; setting up shoots & schedules, including international shoots; casting & briefing contributors; gaining institutional access; archive research; music, UGC & archive clearance; writing presenter scripts; VT paper cuts; VT edit producing; creating running orders for live events.

What I can use: Premiere Pro, Da Vinci Resolve, BBC Digital Archives, BBC Musicbox, FX7/FX3/A7Sii/Osmo, InDesign, Photoshop & image manipulation. Learning Avid.

I am an alumna of the competitive Channel 4 Production Training Scheme 2021-2022.
I'm currently studying MA Art History part time (while working full time).
My BA is Philosophy, Politics and Economics.
