Self-shooting, resourceful, and organized Assistant Producer based in British Columbia with experience in story development, research, production coordination, and location assisting including setting up complex international shoots. Currently, I'm working as an AP on an upcoming three-part natural history/doc series with Passion Pictures and River Road Films for PBS, CBC, Arte, and LoveNature and have previous broadcast credits on programs for Smithsonian Channel and BBC. I also work as a camera operator and assistant specializing in underwater environments as a licensed commercial diver through the Diver Certification Board of Canada. I hold an MA in Wildlife Filmmaking from the University of the West of England in partnership with the BBC Natural History Unit as well as a BA&Sc in Conservation Biology specializing in marine sciences. I have a soft spot for fish and the communities built around them, and I love to work on projects that strive to find the human heart within conservation efforts. Read Less
