I'm an experienced South Wales based Shooting PD who works in broadcast, commercials and branded content. I have experience of most types of programming, including extensive experience in crime series, working alongside police and vulnerable people. I have strong technical skills shooting on a variety of different cameras and supporting tech which has also led me to work as a DoP on some programs. I am used to working within various sized production teams, however one of my specialties has been to be totally independent of the production team if needed. Instances include being sent as a solo PD / Camera op all around Australia including the outback, deep into the Peruvian Amazon on an expedition, shoots in India, UAE, Sweden and covering the high profile World Economic forum in Switzerland. I’ve also directed and shot TV series with crews abroad including in Cyprus, Finland and across the United States including the Alaskan Wilderness. These type of projects require a huge amount of trust in my ability. I'm meticulous, resourceful and well organised. I'm not shy of hard work, the pressure of responsibility or long hours. I'm used to working around high profile people and celebrities, and have shot for major multinationals. I have worked as a Shooting PD on BBC's Crimewatch / Crimewatch live for over 13 years working with Police forces across the UK creating appeal films and accompanying officers as a PD / Camera op on raids and operations. I have a strong editorial eye and legal knowledge, and am completely comfortable in knowing how to deliver well thought out creative sequences to an edit. I have taken countless films from concept through to air.I am fully up to date with all BBC training courses. I have worked in and am able to operate in extreme environments including jungle, desert, extreme cold and mountains. I own a lot of my own expedition gear. I also own a full broadcast camera kit including a Sony FX6, Sony FS7 and Sony A7siii, as well as lighting, sound and grip such as dollys and jibs. I have a UK drone licence and insurance for a Mavic Mini 2 with specific policy wording for BBC productions. Read Less
