During my time at King Bert, a production company specialising in scripted comedy and drama entertainment, I have developed plenty of transferable organisation/communication skills relevant to the role including:
- Handling scripts, reading any external submissions and providing meaningful coverage
- Undertaking development research, ensuring to keep an eye on current trends, taking a keen interest in new up and coming creators and reporting back to the Head of Development
- Producing digital commissions for broadcasters of our current series, coming up with ideas and scripting content, organising the shoot and production of approved digital commissions
- Assuming ownership of the slate document, ensuring it is regularly maintained and tracking progress; keeping an eye on action points to ensure that the creative team follows through, with prompting as required
I also have a wealth of relevant experience gained during my previous employment as a Post Production Coordinator and Marketing Executive, including: event organisation, video and podcast series development including editing with Adobe Premier Pro, answering phones, inbox and diary management, database management, data wrangling, document filing, and administration of the document management systems.
I'm capable of working flexible hours including evenings and weekends, and can be relied upon to seamlessly juggle multiple tasks whilst looking after both cast and crew.
