I’ve worked with celebrities like Jamie Oliver and Frank Skinner – playing to their strengths to get the most out of them and produced first time presenters like Nisha Katona and Tom Kerridge who have gone on to have huge success.
As a Series Producer I’ve delivered food, travel, competition, property and character based fact ent shows: managing large teams on location, in the studio and supervising multiple edits. I’ve set the style of new series which have been recommissioned but am quick to pick up the tone of existing formats.
As an Edit Producer, I can be relied upon to get to the heart of a story with speed, and really craft rushes into compelling television. Working across documentaries, obs docs, and factual entertainment I've covered a huge range of topics: from failing businesses, to sick animals, to people changing gender and have adapted commentary, music and style of cutting to appeal to the viewer. I enjoy problem solving and have taken on failing edits, gone back to the rushes and turned these shows around. I’ve used archive, graphics, and music to enhance the material.
I’m a story-teller, who uses my experience in the edit to inform what’s needed from the very start of a production, helping any team I manage to steer and shape the editorial of a successful show.
