Now based in the U.K, Adrian has scored award-winning films that have been selected into festivals such as SXSW, London Film Festival, Sydney Film Festival, Raindance and BFI Flare. Some recent work include Hong Kong: City on Fire (F:ACT Award at CPH:Dox), No More Wings (Best Narrative Short at Tribeca), Hen Do (RTS Scotland Award), Happy Palace (NPO) and The Rise and Fall of Michelle Mone (BBC).
Adrian releases music under the moniker Drexler. Living in the contemporary classical and ambient space, his music combines pianos, textured strings, field recordings collected from his travels and electronics. His releases have received airplay on NTS, Triple J, KEXP, Soho Radio and BBC Sounds. He is currently working on his next album with the support of Music Australia’s Export Development Fund, collaborating with The Freestyle Orchestra to explore themes of miscarriage and loss through a combination of circus, movement and string music.
He has also worked on advertising campaigns for Amazon, Dove, Patron Tequila, Guinness, Barnardo’s, as well as radio dramas for the BBC.
He was named a 2025 Rising Talent by IF Magazine, is a member of BAFTA Connect, an APRA PDA nominee, and has served as a judge for the Ivor Novello, APRA Screen Awards and BAFTA Awards. He was also selected as one of Australia's best composers for the Sounds Australia LA Trade Mission.
Adrian is particularly interested in diverse stories that explore culture, identity and underrepresented voices.
