I'm a freelance director of photography and self-shooting PD with experience in long and short-form documentaries, as well as doc-series. I'm passionate about character-driven stories of social and environmental relevance, with a strong focus on human-wildlife stories and natural history adjacent content. I often work as one-man band/shooter-director, having gained a lot of experience in that area through the Animal Planet series Wild Bear Rescue, where I served as the Series DOP and one of only two directors to work on the show. Most recently, I've split my time between developing my own documentaries like Walking with Grizzlies, and filming/ co-developing Grizzly Rewild for CBC's The Nature of Things.
