Born in India, I moved to UK for my MA in Film from University of the Arts London on a scholarship. I have been working independently as a director/editor since 2018 on branded films, commercials, music videos, performance art, collaborating with artists and developing my visual language. Narrative has always been integral in my works and since 2020 I have been focussing more on fiction and recently finished my graduation film "Love Death and Everything In Between", a 29 min short film about a South Asian couple grieving their son's unnatural death, currently in the festival circuit. With my works, I intend to tell stories of under-represented communities while creating humane experiences for screen.
